He is also known for his trademark Kazu Feint and his well-known Kazu dance when he scores great goals or produces countless plays. Miura holds the archives for being the oldest goal scorer in the J-League, the footballer with the world's longest qualified career, and, as of 2022, the oldest qualified World Cup footballer in the world at 55. He also holds the probably unique distinction of having played qualified football in five separate decades 1980s–the 2020s. His elder brother Yasutoshi is also a former qualified footballer.

In 1982, Miura left the Shizuoka Gakuen High School after less than a year and 12 alone to Brazil at the age of 15 to become a qualified footballer there. He signed with the youth team of Sao Paulo side Juventus, and in 1986, Miura contracted his first qualified contract with Santos. In January 2017, Miura signed another new one-year contract with Yokohama, taking his qualified career into his fifties. On 5 March 2017, Miura developed the oldest ever World Cup player to feature in a qualified match when he ongoing in Yokohama's 1–1 draw in contradiction of V-Varen Nagasaki. Born and raised in Settsu, Honda had gone to the local junior youth team at Gamba Osaka but was not endorsed to the youth Football World Cup team. When Honda was a Seiryo High School student, he finishes an appearance at J.
