Young footballers from all over the Arab world are benefiting from the development program launched by the Supreme Committee & legacy SC and the Qatar Football Association QFA, in partnership with Jordan-based Aurora Training and Development. The One Goal Arabia program works with professional athletes aged 16-17 from 19 Arab countries. The move comes ahead of the FIFA World Cup, which was held in Qatar last November and December.

The project has five program areas and is designed to
highlight development issues and encourage a generation of Arab soccer players
to use football to bring about positive change in society. One Goal Arabia uses
Generation Amazing football as a way to improve. Generation Amazing is a legacy
program for the FIFA World Cup 2022 launched by SC in 2010 and has had a
positive impact on more than 725,000 people worldwide.
Speaking on the part of the One Goal Arabia project, Mansoor
Al Ansari, General Secretary of QFA, said: We are very pleased to be
participating in Generation Amazing Festival 2021 and to be in touch with the
delegates of the One Goal Arabia program. This program is an important step in
empowering our youth and supporting their growth while using their positions as
role models to raise awareness of the good news, inclusiveness, and sustainable
development.
Since its launch, participants have been involved in
discussions organized by leading sports organizations to develop and present a
role for sport in addressing social issues. There was a session on generosity,
sustainable development goals, climate action, inclusion, mental health, and
protection. Organizations involved in the project include SC, United Nations
Development Program, Qatar Foundation, Special Olympics, University of

The One Goal Arabia program has allowed a diverse team of
new leaders to develop as global citizens, said Generation Amazing Program Director
Nasser Al Khori. Through access to the Generation Amazing football development
program, participants have built their leadership and life skills. They are now
ready for the second part of the program. They will create their programs to
share with young peers in their local communities before and beyond Qatar World
Cup 2022.

Several participants attended the Generation Amazing
Festival 2021, which was held in Qatar during the FIFA World Cup. During the
festival, under the theme, All In, the Arab alliance was celebrated by the
actor and participated in a series of collaborative activities with more than
200 participants from the region. This includes the ‘All In’ football
tournament, which is designed to encourage players to challenge their
communication and problem-solving skills.
