NRK is a Norwegian public newscaster that is the largest
media in the country. The captures are the latest argument linking journalists
and Qatar authorities, just one year before the FIFA World Cup 2022. Ekeland, a
games journalist, and Ghorbani, a photographer, told NRK that they were not allowable
to leave Doha with their gear.
The Norwegian Union of Journalists and the nation’s football
federation have both disparaged the journalists’ custody. In a statement to

their duties as journalists.

and also fundamental to be able to fulfill other human rights,” she supposed.
Qatar’s rule supposed in a statement that the two had been detained

had demanded before their arrival and were vacant meetings with senior
government and third-party officials," Qatar's government infrastructures

Speech is severely ruled in Qatar and the country has faced augmented
scrutiny over the treatment of refugee workers after winning the right to host
the future tournament. The country energetically rejects the censure, saying
that it has rehabilitated its Labour laws and presented a minimum wage.
Norway had held a vote in June on possibly boycotting the FIFA
World Cup 2022, but this was rejected by the country's football association. Norway
has not qualified for the tournament and wore shirts at a qualifying match in
March expressing concern over human rights in Qatar.
