A FIFA spokesman said they had asked WADA and the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF) to clarify how the ban affects Russian football teams. If the Russian anti-doping agency (RUSADA) appeals, the case will be referred to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
